The latest Russian fifth-generation Su-57 multirole fighter surpasses all existing analogues in the world, including the Chinese novelty J-35. This opinion was shared by Honored Test Pilot, Hero of Russia Sergei Bogdan.
He noted that Russian aviation has never lagged behind competitors. According to the pilot, aviation complexes always have competitive advantages.
In my opinion, the fifth-generation Su-57 aircraft surpasses those existing in the world. As for the presented new Chinese J-35 aircraft, unfortunately, only aerodynamic characteristics can be seen at air shows, in general. From the point of view of stability, maneuverability and controllability, our competitors, unfortunately, do not show everything yet, do not demonstrate everything. But from what has been shown, Russian aircraft always show a little more.
Bogdan added that the Su-57 is a magnificent platform for the future generation of modifications, as the Su-27 aircraft was in its time, the layouts of which have been used for many decades. Its weapons are located inside the fuselage, it is powerful and has a long range.
