The high-speed catamarans "Kotlin" (04580), built at the Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant (part of USC), transported more than 106,000 passengers from St. Petersburg to Kronstadt during the 2024 navigation period. This was reported by the corporation's press service.
Passenger ships are designed for use on the rivers and canals of St. Petersburg, taking into account low bridges. Catamarans can also enter the Gulf of Finland. A series of 6 catamarans are being built with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and GTLK.
