A proposal has been submitted to the Ministry of Transport Development of Russia to allocate a separate class of airspace for unmanned aerial vehicles. This was announced by the head of Rosaviatsiya, Dmitry Yadrov.

The proposal has been supported by the government commission on transport represented by Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev.
