The Rooks Have Arrived: Powerful Video of Su-25S Combat Operations Against Enemy Equipment Published

Russian Su-25S attack aircraft launched missile air strikes on armored vehicles and personnel of the enemy on the line of combat contact. The Ministry of Defense has published vivid footage of the combat work of the "Rooks", as these aircraft are called in the troops.

The Su-25s launched missile strikes in pairs from low altitudes. After using air-launched weapons, the fighters maneuvered, released heat traps and safely returned to the departure airfield.

The attack aircraft are armed with a GSh-30-2 twin-barreled aircraft cannon with 250 rounds. Guided and unguided missiles, cassettes with mines, aerial bombs and four containers with 23-millimeter GSh-23L twin-barreled cannons can be suspended on the aircraft. The maximum combat load of the Su-25 is 4.4 tons.
