During the preparation of a military parade in Algeria, an unusual version of the T-62M tank under the index BMPT-62 was noticed, equipped with a highly automated combat module B05YA01 "Berezhok" and representing a heavy combat vehicle for tank support.
The Tula combat module "Berezhok" provides the vehicle with the highest fire capabilities at a distance of up to 8 - 10 km in the daytime using the daytime channel of the Sodema sight and ATGMs 9M133M-2 and 9M133FM-3, as well as up to 3.5 km at night. The operator also has an automatic 2A42 cannon at his disposal.
After being equipped with anti-drone and anti-cumulative "visors" and multi-band electronic warfare systems such as "Kapushon" or "Tetraedr", the BMPT-62 can serve a worthy service in the course of fire support for assault operations.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that the Ka-52 "Alligator" helicopter will receive a new Kh-39M missile with a range of more than 25 km. The official characteristics of the projectile are currently unknown.
