AvtoVAZ plans to release new models. A crossover and a minivan based on the Lada Vesta platform will appear in the near future. There are also plans for the longer term.
This will be a completely new LADA Niva, as well as two new crossover models, which are tentatively designated as B-SUV and D-SUV.
In fact, this is one "trolley", which the factory calls "Neo-Vesta". It will be slightly larger than the current Vesta.
The cars will be produced in two segments.
According to sources of the Telegram channel "Russian Automobile", production work will not begin soon. Presumably, AvtoVAZ specialists will begin to actively work on new projects after 2023.
As a reminder, a cheaper version of LADA Vesta with an automatic transmission began to arrive in Russian cities at the end of October. According to experts, the car is able to occupy up to 10% of the total sales of the Vesta family.
Earlier, experts calculated how much cars in Russia have risen in price in ten years. Currently, the average price of a new car is approximately 3.1 million rubles, while in 2014 one million was enough.
