A cheaper version of the LADA Vesta with an automatic transmission has begun to arrive in Russian cities. According to the Avtostat agency, in particular, in St. Petersburg, the Pragma dealership network has already received it in a sedan body. They believe that the car will be popular: it will be able to attract both those who wanted the model in configurations with a manual transmission, and those for whom this will be the first car with an "automatic".
According to our estimate, the LADA Vesta, equipped with a 1.6 engine and automatic transmission, is capable of occupying up to 10% of the total sales of the Vesta family.
The budget LADA Vesta, which insiders leaked shortly before entering the market, is equipped with a 1.6-liter VAZ-21129 engine with a capacity of 106 horsepower and a Chinese WLY CVT18 variator. It has a consumption of 7.3 liters per 100 km.
AvtoVAZ has adjusted the settings of the engine and transmission, since this variator was previously installed on the LADA Vesta with a 1.8-liter EVO engine. The difference between the model with a manual gearbox and the variator LADA Vesta is only 50 thousand rubles.
