Russian and Belarusian users can again download and update drivers for Nvidia video cards, despite yesterday's problems when access to the company's official website was blocked by the Edgecast WAF firewall. Presumably, the massive failure observed on the evening of October 23 was caused by a technical error, and not a deliberate ban by Nvidia.
Although during October 23, users in Russia and Belarus could not download drivers for their discrete video cards or laptops with GeForce graphics either through the company's website or through the GeForce Experience application, the situation has now stabilized, and access to updates has been restored without the need to use a VPN. Nvidia, however, has not commented on the incident, which initially caused concern among users about possible sanctions.
