Roscosmos engineers will soon begin preparing the Fregat upper stage for the launch of spacecraft in November. It was delivered to the Vostochny Cosmodrome, according to the Roscosmos press service.
The Fregat will deliver the Ionosfera-M No. 1-2 spacecraft into Earth orbit, which are used in the Ionozond project, a complex for monitoring the geophysical environment. Their launch will be carried out using the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket. The entire deployment process will be carried out autonomously, without intervention from Earth.
It is worth noting that Roscosmos engineers previously fueled Fregat with fuel and compressed gases. It was produced at NPO Lavochkin.
