Minesweepers "Yakov Balyaev" and "Anatoly Shlemov" Return to Kamchatka After Voyage

The mine-sweeping group of the ship formation of the water area protection of the troops and forces in the northeast of Russia, consisting of the mine-sweepers "Anatoly Shlemov" and "Yakov Balyaev" of project 12700 "Alexandrite", returned to their base in Kamchatka after completing combat training tasks at sea.

In total, the ships were at sea for about two months. The crews covered more than 6 thousand nautical miles and completed over 40 combat training exercises. The crews gained experience in operating weapons, mechanisms, and components, after which they returned to their base.

Also, the newest ships of project 12700 took part in the strategic command and staff exercises "Ocean-2024" as part of the Pacific Fleet forces. The naval minesweepers carried out reconnaissance search for mines and provided anti-sabotage patrol of the ship detachment. The minesweeper crews used the standard equipment of the ships - the "Livadia-ME" hydroacoustic stations and the "Diez" automatic complexes.

The ships of this project have the world's largest hull made of monolithic fiberglass, formed by vacuum infusion, its mass is significantly less compared to a metal hull, while the strength is significantly increased. Ships made of composite materials are not afraid of corrosion, and the service life, if operating standards are observed, is unlimited.

Earlier, Rostec announced the invulnerability of the "Product 305" missile for the enemy's electronic warfare on the front line. It always flies exactly where the helicopter carrier crew directs it.
