Уникальные российские «Александриты» вернулись на Камчатку после морского похода

Minesweepers "Yakov Balyaev" and "Anatoly Shlemov" Return to Kamchatka After Voyage

The mine-sweeping group of the ship formation for the protection of the water area of the troops and forces in the northeast of Russia, consisting of the minesweepers "Anatoly Shlemov" and "Yakov Balyaev" of Project 12700 "Alexandrite", returned to their base in Kamchatka after completing combat training tasks at sea.

In total, the ships were at sea for about two months. The crews covered more than 6,000 nautical miles and completed over 40 combat training exercises. The crews gained experience in operating weapons, mechanisms, and components, after which they returned to their base.

Also, the newest ships of Project 12700 participated in the strategic command and staff exercises "Ocean-2024" as part of the Pacific Fleet forces. The naval minesweepers carried out mine reconnaissance and provided anti-sabotage patrol of the ship detachment. The minesweeper crews used the ships' standard equipment — the "Livadia-ME" hydroacoustic stations and the "Diez" automatic systems.

Ships of this project have the world's largest hull made of monolithic fiberglass, formed by vacuum infusion; its weight is significantly less compared to a metal hull, while the strength is significantly increased. Ships made of composite materials are not susceptible to corrosion, and the service life is unlimited if operating regulations are observed.

Earlier, Rostec announced the invulnerability of the "Product 305" missile to enemy electronic warfare systems on the front lines. It always reaches exactly where the helicopter carrier crew directs it.
