Warships of Russia and China conducted firing exercises in the Pacific Ocean as part of anti-submarine and anti-aircraft defense exercises. A joint Russian-Chinese detachment of ships is currently patrolling in the Asia-Pacific region.
The detachment of warships in the designated area searched for a submarine of a mock enemy, and then practiced tasks to pursue it. To eliminate the "enemy" submarine, the crews of Russian ships used RBU-6000 rocket launchers.
During the next episode of the exercises, the crews of ships of the Russian Navy and the Chinese Navy practiced tasks of repelling an air attack. To repel a missile attack, Russian naval sailors fired from the Kinzhal ship-based anti-aircraft missile system. The ships also used passive jamming systems to withdraw forces from under a missile strike.
