Russian unmanned aerial vehicles of optical-electronic reconnaissance on the front line are being equipped with onboard EW systems in an orderly manner. This was reported by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.
Sources claim that radio-electronic suppression of control channels of UAV interceptors is being massively installed on reconnaissance UAVs of the Russian Armed Forces.
Damantsev explained that the modulators and emitters of electronic warfare are synchronized with frequency finders and analyzers, and are activated only for 60 seconds when an enemy FPV interceptor approaches. If the attack is repeated, then reactivation is possible.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rostec delivered a new batch of armored BMD-4M and BMP-3 with "Nakidka" protection kits to the troops. Additional protection includes products for strengthening armor and lattice screens.
