The government has decided to change the current preferential profit tax rates for companies in the radio-electronic industry for the coming years. Bill No. 731807-8 has been submitted to the State Duma and published in the electronic database of the parliament.
According to the document, the federal portion of the tax in 2025-2027 for developers and manufacturers of radio-electronic products will increase from 3% to 8%, while the regional portion will remain at zero.
It is also proposed to expand the conditions for applying this rate. It is proposed to apply it to income from the sale of equipment for the production of electronic component base (electronic modules), electronic (radio-electronic) products in accordance with the list of such equipment approved by the government of the Russian Federation.
The financial and economic justification for the bill notes that continuing the reduced tax rate for the period 2025-2027 will hit the budget. According to calculations in the document, the Russian budget may lose more than 30 billion rubles annually in this case.
