According to USC, engineers from "USC-Technologies" have conducted sea trials of a new control system for unmanned boats. It fits into a simple box and turns almost any motorboat into a powerful USV on which it is mounted.
As the developers told NTV journalists, the device is very simple. A transmitter, a communication antenna, and a video camera are mounted in the control system so that the operator can monitor the situation and guide the boat to the target.
With a switch-drive, you can add gas, adjust the course of the vessel forward and backward. It will be able to make, for example, from an inflatable motorboat a USV that can evacuate people, deliver ammunition to the desired point, and even become, if necessary, a kamikaze boat that can carry up to 140 kg of explosives.
The control system also includes a mini-platform for drones. You can install either FPV drones or a larger reconnaissance drone on it.
