It is possible that cars of the Hongqi brand will increase in price in Russia. This was stated by the executive director of Hongqi Rus, Ivan Savelyev. This is how the manufacturer may react to the increase in the key rate and the increase in the recycling fee.
In the first stages of promoting the brand in the Russian market, we began to actively use sales promotion tools. However, the situation is changing now. We are planning to revise these sales support tools towards their reduction.
He explained that the increase in the recycling fee and the increase in the key rate may play a role in this. Over time, Savelyev did not rule out an increase in the cost of premium cars.
Let us remind you that the Hongqi lineup includes six models, including both passenger cars and crossovers. There are no interruptions in the supply of premium cars from China.
