According to a study by the YuMoney electronic payment service, 60% of Russians make online purchases at night. Of these, 41% do it sometimes, and 19% do it regularly.
The main reasons for night shopping were late falling asleep (46% of respondents) and the convenience of shopping without distractions (45%). Other reasons include the need for an urgent order (33%) and a lack of time for shopping during the day (28%).
Most often, Russians buy clothes, shoes and accessories, food and ready-made food, household appliances and electronics at night. About 35% of respondents make spontaneous purchases, and 26% sometimes plan their expenses.
The amount that Russians spend on night purchases mainly varies from 2 thousand to 5 thousand rubles (32%), and 27% spend up to 2 thousand rubles. The survey was conducted among more than 1,500 service users throughout Russia.
