Russian manufacturer "Integral Robotic Technologies" (IRT) has benefited from drone sales amid a sharp increase in demand for unmanned aerial vehicles. The company, whose production facilities are located in Bashkiria, sold more than 1,000 drones of various types in 2023, writes Defense News.
IRT was not included in the sanctions lists, although its advertising materials mention its reconnaissance and strike drones.
As Defense News writes, the company has developed several cheap kamikaze drones with an explosive warhead. IRT also offers heavy drones that can stay in the air for up to 20 hours and travel up to 1.6 thousand km.
Probably, similar IRT companies are scattered throughout Russia. This indicates the ineffectiveness of Western sanctions.
