Insiders of the Avtograd News public page denied the news that mass production of Lada Aura has already begun. The cars will only start to be produced in October.
At the moment, two or three cars per shift are indeed passing along the assembly line, but these are still the so-called "project" cars.
According to insiders of the public page, mass production will start at the end of September or the beginning of October. First, 100 cars will be assembled in several shifts, then production will increase.
By the end of 2024, the company plans to create about 3,000 Lada Aura cars. The car should receive a 122-horsepower engine in combination with a variator.
As a reminder, AvtoVAZ assured that in terms of comfort, the premium Lada Aura car surpasses even the Toyota Camry. The top version of the car is equipped with a premium audio system, leather interior, and a rear sofa with massage.
