Shipbuilding and ship repair enterprises throughout Russia will take advantage of innovative solutions that were used in the creation of the digital shipyard of the Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant (OSSRZ). This was stated by the Chairman of the Marine Board, Nikolai Patrushev, during an inspection of this enterprise.
Innovative solutions will be actively used at other shipbuilding and ship repair enterprises.
The introduction of such technologies will give an additional impetus to domestic shipbuilding.
The shipyard is planned to be completed by the end of 2024. The politician set the task of speeding up the process. The plant will receive 2 billion rubles from the federal budget for the implementation of the second phase of the project. The necessary documentation has already been developed.
The digital shipyard will increase production from 3 to 10 ships annually. Production processes will be automated and robotized, and digital support technologies will be used. The modernization of OSSZ will create 500 additional jobs.
