The YouTube video hosting service has begun to introduce technical measures to limit the mass transfer of videos to Russian platforms, such as VK Video, Rutube, and "Platform". These measures have complicated the work of services that helped bloggers and users transfer content.
According to representatives of Russian video hosting services, the restrictions are caused by the YouTube administration's dissatisfaction with the migration of Russian bloggers. "Platform" confirmed that YouTube is blocking mass downloading of content, which leads to an increase in queues for video import.
Some video downloading services, such as Savefrom and 320ytmp3, have also encountered problems. The video is only available in low resolution or without sound, which makes it difficult to transfer content.
