AvtoVAZ plans to begin mass production of the LADA e-Largus electric vehicle at its plant in Izhevsk in late September 2024. This was announced by Sergey Gromak, the company's Vice President for External Relations and Shareholder Interaction, at a session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) titled "Russian Automotive Industry: A Course Towards the East or Technological Sovereignty?"
Gromak noted that the LADA e-Largus will be a completely domestic product with a high degree of localization.
He also added that production of the LADA Aura car, which is fully ready for launch, will begin in September.
