The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that in 2023 the agency recorded 677,000 IT crimes. From January to July, 437,000 frauds and thefts were committed.
Losses for the past year amounted to 156 billion rubles, for the current period losses amounted to 99 billion rubles - this is for seven months of this year.
According to him, crimes related to IT technologies exceed 30%. Filippov emphasized that people have become dangerous to others.
A representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that fraudsters often deceive pensioners. They force them to transfer money and rewrite their property to front men.
