Crews of the Tornado-G multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) can control firing from the cabin. The advantages of the modernized complex were revealed by the vehicle commander with the call sign Koschey.

This system is modernized, its predecessor is the Grad installation. Improvements have been made to communications, ammunition and control. As a result, the developer managed to significantly increase the accuracy of fire, range and firepower.

The military man emphasized that the Tornado differs from the Grad in the presence of a modern fire control system, which allows you to aim the package with guides without leaving the cabin, as well as a computer.

According to him, the new equipment has accelerated all processes of combat work. The vehicle uses special shells with remote detonation, allowing you to destroy targets at a range of 40 kilometers.

Earlier, the foreign publication The National Interest noted that in the event of a conflict between NATO and Russia, the Tu-160s could become "Vladimir Putin's hammer". They can be used to launch missiles with nuclear warheads or to hit important targets.
