Some UAZ dealers reported that the production of the UAZ "Hunter" is scheduled to cease on September 1, but the plant has denied this information.
UAZ representatives state that no decisions have been made to stop assembling the "Hunter", and the production plan for September and subsequent months remains in effect.
Currently, the price of the "Hunter" starts from 1,140,000 rubles, considering a direct discount of 300,000 rubles.
In the first half of 2024, UAZ sold 261 "Hunter" vehicles in Russia, not including shipments to the military and special services.
In 2019, the then General Director of UAZ, Adil Shirinov, noted that there were no plans to discontinue the classic SUV.
