The sedan LADA Granta in its basic configuration is the cheapest car in Russia in the new car market. Analysts have calculated how much its cost has increased over the past three years.

So, in 2021, the basic version of the Granta with a 1.6-liter engine with 90 horsepower and a manual gearbox could be purchased for 560 thousand rubles. In December 2022, when many European automakers left the Russian market, the basic "Granta" rose in price to 678 thousand rubles. After another year, the price of the car increased to 700 thousand rubles. In percentage terms, the growth was only four percent, and in monetary terms - almost 22 thousand rubles, which is more significant. As analysts noted, the car has risen in price by 25% since 2021.

Meanwhile, this year AvtoVAZ is already raising prices for its products for the fourth time. However, the cost of the basic version of the Granta remains unchanged - the same 700 thousand rubles. The car's configuration does not abound in options. The car does not even have airbags. Air conditioning is also not included in the car, nor is a radio. For those who need these options, AvtoVAZ offers the "Classic'24 Air Conditioner" version. It is more expensive than the basic by more than 300 thousand rubles.
