A deputy from the "New People" party, Vladislav Davankov, submitted a bill to the State Duma proposing to warn drivers via SMS ten minutes before the car is evacuated. If the driver manages to arrive in time, they will be limited to a fine on the spot, and the car will not go to the impound lot. Auto journalist Maxim Kadakov is convinced that the bill will not become law.
Davankov emphasizes that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has all the information about the driver of the vehicle and it will not be difficult to warn them. The explanatory note to the bill emphasizes that the evacuation of the car itself causes stress to a person, as it seems that the car has been stolen.
Auto journalist Maxim Kadakov doubts that information about vehicle drivers is in the databases of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, or at least there is the phone number of the car owner. The expert believes that the law will not be adopted.

Let us remind you that in Moscow, the tariffs for evacuating a car depend on the category of the vehicle and the engine power. They start from 6,520 rubles and end with 64,021 rubles (for oversized vehicles and cars weighing over 4 tons). In addition, the driver will need to pay a fine for improper parking.
