«Авито» и «Ситилинк» представили роботов для оценки стоимости смартфонов

Robots are located in "Citilink" stores

The team of the private classifieds service "Avito" announced the launch of a new service for assessing used smartphones, which was developed in collaboration with the online retailer "Citilink". Now users can easily check the technical condition of their devices and find out their market value using a robot appraiser.

Since the launch of the smartphone buyback program in 2022, "Avito" has connected 75 partners to the project and expanded it to 85 cities in Russia.

Now sellers will be able to take advantage of the free appraisal service in "Citilink" stores. Each store will have a robot appraiser that will use artificial intelligence to diagnose the device and determine its fair value. If the seller is satisfied with the assessment, the store employee will confirm the sale and buy back the gadget.

Robot appraisers will be available in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Voronezh. To use the service, you need to place an advertisement for the sale of a smartphone on the "Avito" platform. If the pilot project is successfully tested, it is planned to install another 20 such robots in "Citilink" stores by the end of 2024.

The robot appraiser is capable of evaluating smartphones of any brand and operating system, but does not yet work with foldable models and devices that support eSIM. These features may appear in the future.
