Dozens of Russian military personnel are undergoing training in Iran on the use of the Fath-360 short-range ballistic missile, Reuters reported, citing sources in European intelligence. Sources say they expect hundreds of missiles to be delivered to Russia soon.
It is assumed that on December 13, 2023, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense signed a contract with the Iranian authorities for the supply of Fath-360 ballistic missiles and the Ababil missile system, intelligence sources say.

The US National Security Council said that Washington and its G7 partners"are ready to give a swift and harsh response if Iran continues such deliveries." According to Reuters, the Russian Ministry of Defense did not respond to a request for comment on possible deliveries of Fath-360.
The permanent mission of Iran to the UN stated that Tehran and Moscow have established long-term strategic cooperation, including in the military-technical line. However, Iran refrains from transferring weapons to Russia, the organization added.
