The advanced high-speed unmanned aerial vehicle "Grom" will be presented at the upcoming military-technical forum "Army-2024". The first footage of the device has already appeared on the Web.
The drone was developed by the Kronstadt company. The drone's strike capabilities are related to the presence of four suspension points - two inside the fuselage and two under the wing consoles. The maximum weight of dropped cargo is 2000 kg.
The UAV can be armed with guided aerial bombs weighing 100, 250 and 500 kg, as well as guided aerial missiles of 100 and 500 kg caliber, including anti-radar missiles.
"Grom" is designed to destroy military and facility air defense systems, engage enemy targets in tactical depth, and perform electronic reconnaissance.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian military installed the MT-12 Rapira anti-tank gun on a high-speed MT-LB tracked vehicle. This is how they solved the problem of transporting the gun.
