For the construction of port infrastructure on the Northern Sea Route: a plant for reinforced concrete products will be built in Arkhangelsk

Investments in the project will amount to 2.5 billion rubles

MT Arkhangelsk will build a reinforced concrete products plant in Arkhangelsk. A corresponding agreement was signed by representatives of the company, the government of the Arkhangelsk region, and the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.

It is expected that the project will stimulate the development of the reinforced concrete products market in the Arkhangelsk region and in the Northwestern Federal District, said Alexey Alsufyev, Deputy Governor of the region.

The new production will improve the logistics of a large construction project and speed up the implementation of these projects.

According to the company's CEO Mikhail Chernyaev, reinforced concrete products will be needed for the construction of hydraulic structures of seaports on the Northern Sea Route.

MT Arkhangelsk will invest about 2.5 billion rubles in the construction of the plant. The design capacity of the enterprise is 32 thousand cubic meters of products per year. More than 140 new jobs will be created here.
