Russian logistics units have begun refueling armored vehicles faster thanks to process modernization. This was reported by the commander of a mobile refueling station unit with the call sign Berkut.
According to him, enemy drones also forced the military to speed up. To avoid being hit, they started working much faster. The refueling was accelerated, in particular, by increasing the pressure in the system.
If last year it took 10 minutes to refuel a T-72 tank with a 700-liter tank, now it takes 7-8 minutes. Every minute is important. We do three to five such manipulations per day. In terms of liters, it is approximately 3 to 5 tons. Of course, there are days off when all the equipment is refueled.
Also, the fuel tanker was equipped with several additional hoses for supplying fuel. Now, one such "tank on wheels" can provide fuel to nine tanks at once.
