Diamond DA42 training aircraft have been produced in Russia under license since 2013 at the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA). Initially, the developer of the light twin-engine four-seater turboprop Diamond Aircraft carried out their licensed assembly there from foreign components. In 2021, UZGA itself released the first Diamond DA42 in a full cycle without foreign parts.
