The first resident, Fortis, has located in the TechnoOmsk industrial park. The company has launched the production of lighting equipment and small architectural forms, according to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
Fortis is part of a holding that is one of the largest manufacturers of LED equipment, radio electronics, and infrastructure for smart cities. The following equipment will be manufactured in Omsk:
- outdoor lighting systems
- energy-efficient street lamps
- LED luminaires
The company has created dozens of jobs. The investment in the assembly line amounted to almost 100 million rubles.
