St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov has ordered a ban on parking personal mobility devices (PMDs) in some central areas of the city. This was reported by the press service of the administration.
A positive effect was noted by residents and guests of the city. I believe it is necessary to introduce restrictions on a permanent basis.
Parking of PMDs will be prohibited in the Central, Petrogradsky, Admiralteysky and Vasileostrovsky districts of the city.
It is worth noting that the Moscow authorities are also considering introducing restrictions on PMD drivers. For now, it has been decided to ban the use of electric scooters in places where mass events are held.
