Russian military personnel have begun using unmanned aerial vehicles with a target recognition system based on artificial intelligence. The drones can independently target enemy equipment.
Artificial intelligence also helps drones independently detect the enemy.
Such a system has begun to be used on both budget FPV drones and more advanced kamikaze drone systems of the Ministry of Defense. They have already taught these drones, for example, to recognize a target. That is, it sees a tank, recognizes it, and flies towards that target.
According to "Kalina", the introduction of artificial intelligence into drones is currently in its infancy, but a large number of developers are working on the implementation of these systems.
