Russian Cabinet supported the bill to increase the term of car repairs under OSAGO to 45 days

The delay is due to the lack of spare parts

The Russian government has supported a bill to increase the term for car repairs under OSAGO from 30 to 45 days, due to the lack of necessary spare parts and problems with their delivery to the country.

The author of the bill is Federation Council member Andrei Kutepov. The document proposes to extend the maximum permissible car repair period from 30 to 45 days. According to him, service stations are facing a shortage of spare parts due to sanctions.

Against the background of the rupture of logistics chains, it is not always possible to carry out repairs on time. Therefore, insurance companies have to terminate contracts with service stations and look for other options for their clients.
