Re-purposed TM-62M Mines Instead of Grenades: A New Approach to Destroying Enemy Fortified Areas

Russian Armed Forces Begin Using Re-purposed TM-62M Mines to Destroy Fortified Areas

Russian military personnel have re-evaluated the purpose of anti-tank TM-62M mines and have begun using them to destroy enemy positions by directly throwing the projectile. This was reported by the Telegram channel @binary_glasses.

Soldiers drill holes in the side of the mine, into which a universal five-second detonator with a pin is inserted. After that, the mine can be used as a regular grenade – pull the pin and throw it into the building.

The result is colossal damage to the building; small houses were razed to the ground.
