Не хватает цистерн: РЖД задержали поставку СУГ в Киргизию

Deliveries are promised to resume in early July this year

The company "Russian Railways" (RZD) has delayed the delivery of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to Kyrgyzstan. This caused panic among car owners and created queues at gas stations (gas stations) in Bishkek.

Kyrgyzstan planned to purchase autogas from Kazakhstan, but exports from the neighboring country were banned. It was decided to switch to Russian LPG purchases.

Due to the lack of tank cars at Russian Railways, the fuel could not be shipped to gas stations in Kyrgyzstan on time. A number of fuel operators in the country were left without autogas.

The Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan reported that the issue is being resolved. The fuel is already on its way, and the shortage will be eliminated next week.

It is worth noting that the problem with the delivery of LPG was highlighted back in March of this year. It was caused by a shortage of tank cars. Over the past ten years, Russia has had to write off almost 70 thousand of these cars, while only a quarter as many new ones have been purchased.

According to experts, the peak of the shortage of tank cars will occur in 2027. To solve the problem, a proposal was made to extend their service life by three to five years and adjust the plans of enterprises for their mass production.
