In order to increase literacy among kicksharing drivers, the kicksharing company Whoosh decided to remind visitors to the capital's VDNH park of the traffic rules when riding personal mobility devices. This was reported by the service's press service.

The "Driving School" event takes place at VDNH in front of the Stone Flower fountain. Anyone can take part in it absolutely free of charge.

Representatives of the Whoosh kicksharing service talk about and visually show on posters the traffic rules when driving a personal mobility device (PMD). At the end of the briefing, the participant takes a theory and practical exam on driving a scooter on a mini-track.

The company reminded about the basic traffic rules when driving a PMD:

One scooter for one person. You can't ride a scooter together, two centers of gravity make the PMD uncontrollable.
It is necessary to give way to pedestrians on sidewalks. No matter what happens, the pedestrian on the sidewalk is always the main one.
When moving on sidewalks, slow down. It should not exceed 10-15 km per hour.
You can only ring the bell when necessary. Signaling to pedestrians — in case of risk of collision. It is not recommended to ring more than once, a person may get confused and take unforeseen actions
A scooter is a vehicle for sober people. It is forbidden to drive a PMD while intoxicated.
Parking with respect. You can't put a scooter in the center of the parking lot - only on the edge. It should take up as little parking space as possible.
With a scooter across the crossing on foot. When crossing a highway at a pedestrian crossing, you need to get off. This will allow other drivers to correctly analyze the speed of the PMD and brake in time.
If possible, ride only on bike paths. If this is not possible, you can overtake other vehicles only on the right edge, without going into the main flow of cars.
A scooter is a vehicle strictly for 18+. All trips of minors on PMDs are illegal.

We have an understanding and educated audience in terms of rules, but there is still a group of people who violate them. Therefore, we conduct a "Driving School", place social advertising on large banners in cities, and remind about this in social networks and applications, etc.

Employees of the kicksharing company also reported that the "Anti-Tandem" program has already been launched in Moscow and St. Petersburg. So far, it is being trained to record trips for two.

According to the idea, those who like to use one PMD for riding together will receive a warning about violating the rules in their accounts. In case of relapse, a fine will follow, and in case of repeated violation — account blocking without the right to restore it.
