Photos have appeared from the presentation of LADA Niva Sport to the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov. Mass production of the model will start this year.
The prototype shown is equipped with a 1.6-liter engine with a capacity of 122 horsepower. This is a boosted engine from LADA Granta Sport. The sports SUV has improved seats, a redesigned suspension, as well as a single control lever for the transfer case and differential lock.
The car will be assembled at the "Lada Sport" enterprise. Official prices are unknown. For the first time, a prototype of the car was shown at the "Zhigulevskaya Mile" competitions, which took place in February of this year in Tolyatti.
