The Pacific Fleet (TOF) has completed bilateral exercises of the Primorsky Flotilla of Mixed Forces and the Joint Command of Troops and Forces (OKVS), which were conducted in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk seas between June 18 and 28.
In total, during the practical actions at sea, the forces of the Pacific Fleet performed more than 800 combat exercises, of which about 650 were conducted with the practical use of weapons.
The department noted that at various stages of the exercises were worked out anti-submarine actions, the infliction of joint missile strikes on ship groupings of a mock enemy, the organization of all types of defense of ship detachments, training was conducted to repel attacks by unmanned boats and unmanned aerial vehicles, a set of practical training and combat exercises was performed.
At the final stage of the exercises, the OKVS forces attempted to land a naval landing on the islands of the Kuril ridge. At the same time, the ship tactical groups of the Primorsky Flotilla of Mixed Forces of the Pacific Fleet did not allow the opposing side to realize its plans.
To scout the location of the enemy landing party and to strike from the air, the command of the Primorsky group involved aircraft of the naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet.
The bilateral exercises involved about 40 ships, vessels and support boats, about 20 helicopters and aircraft of naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet, units of the Marine Corps of the Pacific Fleet, combat crews of coastal missile systems "Bastion" and "Bal".
