KAMAZ continues to work on import substitution of spare parts in its products. At the Silk Way Rally, racing trucks will be shown, in which there are more Russian components.
The route of the sports competition will take place in the hot conditions of Mongolia. Engineers of the KAMAZ-master racing team, associated with the auto giant from Naberezhnye Chelny, have improved the engine cooling system of the trucks. For this , Russian components were also used, which proved to be better than foreign counterparts.
Work has also been carried out to improve the smoothness of the truck. Engineers have changed the cab suspension, now the car rolls less on rough terrain.
The Silk Way Rally 2024 will be held from July 5 to 15 on the territory of Russia and Mongolia. The total route of the marathon will be 5200 kilometers.
Recall that KAMAZ-Master is one of the most titled teams in the world sport in the class of sports trucks. Russian pilots have become winners of the Dakar Rally 19 times. The first victory was won by the team in 1995 at the Master Rally.
