AvtoVAZ has encountered problems with the production of classic "Niva" cars — LADA Niva Legend. Due to a change in the supplier of components for the transfer case, the cars lack a "transfer case" bearing — the mechanical assembly production cannot keep up with the assembly line, according to insiders.
In recent days, cars have been coming off the line in an incomplete condition, with drive to the rear axle.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that on the territory of the plant in Tolyatti, many classic "Nivas" have accumulated. It was claimed that resource tests of cars with a new transfer case bearing were underway. Now these cars have been sent for shipment to dealers, and their place has been taken by cars without a bearing – temporarily front-wheel drive.
