"Avtozavod St. Petersburg" (formerly the Nissan production site) plans to assemble 10,000 cars under the Xcite brand by July 1, 2024, according to the plant's CEO, Ivan Mironov.
To date, we are practically approaching 10,000 assembled cars. They are in varying degrees of readiness. We will reach this figure by July 1.
Sales of the XCITE X-Cross 7 model in Russia started on May 27. Around 300 units have been purchased since then.
According to Mironov, "Avtozavod St. Petersburg" will release a new XCITE model in the fall. The company's employees are working on an all-wheel drive crossover.
Production at the former Nissan site, together with foreign partners, began in November 2023. Cars began to be produced under the XCITE brand in January 2024.
