Rostec presented a model of the engine for modern ships M70FRU at the Naval Salon "Fleet-2024", which started on June 19 in Kronstadt. This diesel-gas turbine unit will replace foreign analogues, the corporation's press service reported.
New corrosion-resistant heat-resistant alloys created by UEC will be used for the construction of these power plants, among others.
New alloys will be used in the manufacture of working and nozzle blades of turbines that operate at high temperatures and mechanical loads. They will increase the efficiency and power of the ship's gas turbine engine. This will help create promising new-level marine power plants.
