On April 12, the US Treasury Department released a list of individuals and companies that have been sanctioned for supporting Russia's military-industrial complex. Among them are major Russian drone manufacturers, includingGeoskan, "Roboavia Unmanned Systems", "Aero-Hit" (which produces Veles FPV drones).
In coordination with the US Department of Commerce and the G7 countries, the US Treasury Department has taken steps to restrict the access of Russian military-industrial enterprises to certain software and IT services.
Which Other Companies and Individuals Have Been Sanctioned:
- "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" (KMZ, for creating unmanned boats)
- Head of the company "Aero-Hit," Andrei Anisimov (for the production of military-purpose UAVs)
- Chinese company Shenzhen Huasheng Industry Co Ltd (for a contract to supply components to "Aero-Hit")
- Company "Renovacio-Invest" (for purchasing UAVs on behalf of "Aero-Hit")
- Bulat Yanborisov (for purchasing equipment for electronic warfare systems)
- LLC "Unmanned Systems" (for the development and production of UAVs)
- Russian Design Bureau "Luch" (developer of the Korsar UAV)
- "Rosizolit" (for the production of components for drones)
The restrictions also affected NPP "Horizon" (which produces drone countermeasures), "Rezonit" (which produces printed circuit boards for UAVs), "Farad" (for supplying electronic components for drones), "Prime Radar Technology" (which develops drone detection and suppression systems), as well as other Chinese, Bulgarian, and Belarusian companies for collaborating with Russian developers.
