The "Ikar" Group of Companies presented its own development — the heavy helicopter-type UAV SH-450 M. The model is being demonstrated at the HeliRussia 2024 exhibition at the Crocus Expo in Moscow.
The press service of "Ikar" noted that through the modernization of the fuselage, power plant, fuel system, chassis, and transmission, the company managed to increase the reliability and technological effectiveness of this UAV. After the improvements, the operational characteristics of the UAV also improved, and its dry weight decreased by almost 20 kilograms. By the end of 2024, "IKAR" plans to manufacture and transfer 20 serial models of the SH-450 M to the customer.
Features of the SH-450 M UAV:
- Flight range — up to 300 km
- Payload — up to 100 kg
- Flight duration — up to 3.5 hours
The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) includes:
- Technological ground control station
- Ground equipment for maintenance and preparation for use
- Transport module (optionally installed on the UAV for commercial cargo transportation)
- Spare parts, tools and accessories
The SH-450 M UAV model can be used for monitoring selected infrastructure facilities, conducting environmental assessments, and delivering cargo. The SH-450 M can also be used in firefighting, disaster relief, and search and rescue operations.
It should be noted that helicopter-type UAVs of the "IKAR" Group of Companies are produced in one of the largest Russian industrial parks — "Rudnevo". This is the territory of the "Technopolis Moscow" special economic zone. The production site of the "IKAR" Group of Companies is part of the scientific and production ecosystem that is being created in Moscow. It will provide a full cycle of development, testing, certification, and serial production of various types of unmanned vehicles.
