59% of Russians are not considering buying the new LADA Iskra from AvtoVAZ. This is evidenced by a survey conducted by the magazine "Za Rulem" from June 6 to 7. It was attended by 1652 people.
Thus, only 41% of respondents may consider buying the car, but only if the cost of the car does not exceed 1.5 million rubles. 32% of Russians rejected the purchase of Iskra because they consider it a non-status car. 27% of respondents noted that they cannot afford anything more expensive than Granta.
Recall that Iskra was shown at SPIEF. The car belongs to the B-class and was originally supposed to replace the Granta model, but VAZ changed their minds and decided to sell both cars in parallel until 2029.
It is not yet known how much they will ask for Iskra. The head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, noted that if the car were sold now, its price would be 1–1.2 million rubles. The sale of Iskra is scheduled for 2025.
