Russian military personnel at the front lines managed to attach a block with S-5 unguided aviation missiles to the MT-LB multi-purpose tracked vehicle, colloquially known as "motolyga." The creation of Russian Kulibins has already been dubbed "Shaitan Arba" on the Web.
The exact combat characteristics of such a symbiosis are currently unknown. The authors of the publication claim that after being launched from the "motolyga," the rocket is capable of covering a 3 by 3 meter square.
The S-5 is a Soviet unguided air-to-surface rocket designed to destroy enemy personnel and equipment. It was adopted by the USSR Air Force in April 1955.
These rockets were equipped on various types of combat helicopters and aircraft.
Earlier, www1.ru reported on the features of the Russian 2K22M1 Tunguska-M1 SAM/Gun system. The 2003 complex is still in demand in air defense units.
