The Governor of the Murmansk Region, Andrey Chibis, signed a decree easing the conditions for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for photo and video shooting. The changes were adopted on the recommendation of the Ministry of Transport of Russia. This was reported by the press service of the government of the Murmansk region.
According to the decree, the list of organizations and individuals who can use drones has been expanded. Additionally, a new procedure for issuing permits for the use of UAVs was approved.
In addition, local authorities were allowed to establish places in populated areas where UAVs can be launched up to a height of 150 m without obtaining permission.
Earlier www1.ru reported that in Russia even ultralight drones will have to be registered.
